"The highlight of the Nats was the Mild to Wild in 55 Hours project undertaken and successfully completed by Pro Street maven Rick Dobbertin. Dobbertin and a Pro Street contingent transformed a box-stock Ford F-150 pickup into a Pro Streeter in just 2 ½ days. Considering the amount of detail – full rollcage, narrowed frame and rear axle, tubs, engine redo, racing seats, wheels and tires, lowering kit, graphics – Dobbertin and crew should have budgeted 55 days. It was amazing to witness the truck being stripped to the frame rails and then reconstructed into a wild street prowler. "
